Welcome back to another OPOW, the playlist for students at SOU! This week's OPOW will focus on songs that have a summer feel before beginning of Summer. Some songs are old. Some songs are new. Overall, this playlist will brighten your break from finals. Here are this week's five songs!

K. Will "Bon Voyage (ft. Beenzino)”

Off from his 2013 album, Love Blossom, Korean singer K. Will croons with his song "Bon Voyage." "Bon Voyage" is about spending a sunny vacation with your lover. With the help of Korean rapper Beenzino, K.Will delivers a soothing and romantic song about spending time with someone you love.

The 1975 “The Sound”

From their sophomore album I like it when you sleep, for you are so beautiful yet so unaware of it, pop alternative band The 1975 returns with their third song "The Sound." "The Sound" is about the frontman Matty Healy falling for a girl and wanting to hear the sound of her heart beat. However, in reality, it is difficult to hear someone's heart and know their true self. This upbeat song gives a "pop" confidence, as Matt Healy described it during a BBC Radio1 interview. So if you want to "pop" your confidence, dance along to The 1975's "The Sound."

Halsey “Colors”

From her critically acclaimed album Badlands, singer Halsey graces YouTube and music scene again with her new song "Colors." "Colors" is about falling out of love with a lover and submerging from the color blue. This medium-slow song can be emotional when the lyrics point out the lover's addiction to pills. If you haven't been listening to Halsey, listen to "Colors" and be mesmerized by the color blue.

Aaliyah "I Don't Wanna"

From 1999 Next Friday soundtrack, R&B singer Aaliyah serenades her listeners with "I Don't Wanna." "I Don't Wanna" is a love song about missing a lover who left the relationship. Despite many arguments, she wants to be with him again. This seductive slow jam lights up the room, especially when you're with your lover.

Ariana Grande "Be Alright"

Featured in her upcoming album Dangerous Woman, Ariana Grande returns with her new song "Be Alright." Her latest single is about how even though she and her lover fight, she lets him know that everything is going to be alright as long as they stick together. This medium-upbeat song can lift you up and make you feel like you can do anything. "Be Alright" can easily be your next favorite song. I guarantee that. If you want to get this song, you can pre-order the single on iTunes. If you want the album, you can pre-order it as well until it releases on May 20.

Bonus Track:

f(x) "Hot Summer" (requested by Kevin of Facebook)

From their 2011 deluxe album Hot Summer, Korean girl group f(x) welcomes summer early with their song "Hot Summer." If you want to bring summer early, blast this song and dance like f(x).

Special thanks to Kevin of Facebook!

The Battle Between College And My Mental Health

College isn't easy, and I'm afraid I'm not going to make it at the rate my mental health is going.

Everyone tells you that college is hard, but they fail to explain why. Sure, classes are hard. Math sucks, and political science can be so boring. But that's not even what's killing me about college. What's killing me about college is my deterioating mental health.

As a college student, I feel as if people don't understand just how exhausted I, and fellow college students are. We have so many things going on, all the time, and sometimes it's hard to explain to people how we feel. Personally...I'm tired. I'm sad. And I'm struggling every single day with my emotions. But the thing is, it hasn't always been this way. I haven't always hated school, so why am I feeling like this now?

Blair Waldorf

Resting b***h face. Defined as a person, usually a girl, who naturally looks mean when her face is expressionless, without meaning to. Many of you suffer from this "condition." You are commonly asked what's wrong, when nothing is. What people don't know is that is just your facial expression. Here are some things they wish you knew.
