Dear best friends,

I don't tell you this enough, but I appreciate you. You have been with me through the storms of life and the celebrations. If you all weren't here by my side, I don't know where I would be right now. You had caught me when I was falling from mistakes that sometimes weren't even mine. You have made me laugh at the darkest of times. Our inside jokes will always be my favorite. When I make a joke, you laugh even though we all know it wasn't funny. I appreciate it all, please just know that. I love you all.

When I need someone to talk to, you are always there for me. You drop everything in a blink of an eye when I need you. Yes, we get in our arguments and fights, but we still make it in the end together. That's all that matters. When something is bothering me and I just need some time to rant, you just sit there and listen. Then when its time for me to listen, you give me advice on how to handle the situation.

You're an awesome person. You inspire me to be better, and you teach me so much about life. I hope you know your self-worth and if you don’t or if you ever question it, I’m always here to remind you. Just like you are always there reminding me. I can't wait to see where life takes you.

All the drama we have had only made us grow stronger in each other. You are my rock. You keep me strong when I am weak. I know I am not perfect, and I do some pretty stupid things, but you are my best friends. Life wouldn't be the same without you. Thank you for everything you do, and once again, I love you.

Love,

Your thankful best friend

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
