Dear professors,
I can't even begin to express how grateful I am for your infectious passion and overwhelming dedication to challenge me to be the best student I possibly can be. Without your guidance and tutelage, I could not have even made it this far.
I am blessed to have had such caring, brilliant and profoundly intriguing professors to pass down the knowledge and wisdom that you have learned over the years. These things have inspired me to pursue worthy causes and fight the good fight for those whose voices may not be as strong as others. Your insistence that we, your students, should not simply or blindly accept the information you give us as fact and do the research ourselves and correct you if need be, speaks volumes in regard to your academic integrity as scholars: something that I personally feel is what amazing teaching is all about.
You are the reason I fell in love with my major studies, and you are the reason why I grew excited about my career trajectory. Without your support in my abilities to accomplish great things, I would have flunked out of school. Your uncanny and eye-opening method of viewing the world through matter-of-fact intelligence drives your students to do the same, ultimately culminating in well-rounded, heavily-researched pupils who feel empowered and capable enough to change the world.
I want to thank you for adding a modicum of entertainment into each and every class session. I know that talking about the nitty-gritty and rather tedious details of such things as criminogenic theories or judicial proceedings to a group of twenty-somethings is less than desirable, but you managed to capture our attention and keep us engaged in the discussion at hand.
In short, thank you, professors, for instilling your students with the qualities you possess that make you such effective and knowledgeable professors to learn from. Thank you for allowing me to express my hundreds of thoughts and opinions, as classroom discussion is of vital importance for further expanding the young, moldable minds you have been charged with teaching. Your many life lessons interwoven into your lectures allows for your students to glean from your experiences and incorporate them into their own lives.
Thank you, my inspirational professors, for giving your students 110% of yourself. I know I couldn't have done it without you.
