Dear Mom and Dad,
I know that this past year hasn’t been the easiest for us, from dad starting his own company to us suddenly losing grandma. I just want you both to know that I’m so blessed to have you both. Thank you for teaching me right from wrong. Thank you for always supporting me no matter how crazy and unrealistic my dreams may seem you both always tell me, “If you can dream it, you can achieve it.” Thank you both for teaching me to have a strong work ethic.
Mom, Thank you for being my person, the Christina to my Meredith, and my very best friend. I know at times we don’t see eye to eye but know matter what, I know that you’ll always have my back. In return, you know that I’ll always have yours. Thank you for always listening to me ramble on about the cute boys, even though I know that you have better things to do than listening to your daughter talk about boys. Thank you for teaching me how to cook, and always trying the crazy concoctions that I find one Pinterest. Also, I’ll appreciate it because when I move out and begin my own life I won’t have to live off of instant rice, and Taco Bell. (Even though I’ll still eat out most of the time). Thank you for everything Mom, I truly am thankful, and I love you so much.
Dad, Thank you for being the one to show me how a man should treat a woman. Thank you for teaching me how to check my oil and how to change a tire, so I won’t ever have to depend on anyone. Thank you for teaching me to be independent. Also, thank you for being my biggest fan, and for never giving up on me. You always know just what to say when I need it the most. Thank you for always telling me not to worry and that everything is going to work out the way its supposed to. You’re my rock, and the one man that I know will never leave my side. I love you, Dad
Thank you both for letting me grow up and make mistakes on my own. Thank you for letting me fail, but still, support me. Thank you for never giving up on me. Without you both I wouldn’t be where I am today. I love you both more than anything.
Love,
Your Daughter
