Fighting for equality between the sexes is an honorable cause to fight for, regardless of gender. That is why I have some questions for those who have taken on the title of “feminist” as it relates to third wave feminism.
Do you care about high suicide rates among men?
Do you care about high incarceration rates of men?
Do you care about the difficulty of divorced fathers who want to see their children?
Have you ever had a conversation with a woman about feminism who does not identify as a feminist? Have you ever been exposed to said woman?
How do men have the ability to stand up for women’s reproductive rights? Given what feminists have claimed, that men have no right to oppose the right to an abortion because they can never experience an abortion or give birth, then it would necessarily follow that men can’t support the right to an abortion for the same reasons.
Maybe you can reconcile that beyond these simple equations I’ve found popular in liberal circles;
Agrees with us = Good
Disagrees with us = Evil
Speaking of reproductive rights, do you care about the higher rates of girls aborted than boys?
Should Gianna Jessen have died? In case you don’t know, Gianna Jessen was a woman who survived a saline abortion as an infant.
What do you have against fedoras?
I’m not saying that you need to fight for every one of these causes, but there does not seem to be very much awareness of other issues besides the big talking points, like rape culture or income inequality. There doesn’t seem to be very much consistency with your ideology.
