You'll always have a friend in me.

Sitting here thinking about how to write this I can't help but let all the memories from high school run through my head. Where do I start? How do I finish? I suppose I can start with thank you. Thank you for all the laughs, games of ping pong, and spontaneous drives when we all got bored. Thank you all for always making any bad thing going on in life better. Thank you for being my best friends.

We all said no matter what happened after graduation we would make time to get together when everyone would come into town. We all had good intentions, right? As graduation approached we were all going to different schools and going for different careers and that itself put us on different paths. Life happens, but one thing that will never change is how things were throughout our time in school.

I truly learned so much from each one of you. Even if life gets crazy we'll always have those days to look back on. I'm proud of all the great things you are all accomplishing in school. I wish we talked more than we do, but know that I will ALWAYS want the best for you. Seeing all your dreams start to come true brings me true happiness for all of you. It's crazy to think that not too long ago we were writing our names on those mini hot air balloons and letting them go.

Lastly, I want to let you all know I'll never forget you. Even if things never go back to how they used to be, you all shaped me into the type of person I am today. I will always be cheering you on to become the best version of you. I want you to always remember that no matter how old we get, where life may take us, you will always have a friend in me.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
