Dear Long Distance Best Friend,
First let me just say, I miss you. It's crazy to think about how close we've gotten when I didn't know you existed a couple months ago. Words can't express how glad I am that I met you-I'm so incredibly lucky that you lived right down the hall. I remember the first night we met. I knew then that we would become close, but I had no idea that I had just met my best friend. The day you transferred schools, I cried for hours after you left. I know that no matter how busy we both get or how long we go without talking, we'll always be there for each other. Thank you for always being one phone call away and for willing to make free time to call me when I need it.
I miss our girls nights, I miss singing along in the car to Taylor Swift. Thank you for everything you've done for me, I don't tell you nearly enough how much I appreciate it and how much you mean to me. People are probably getting tired of hearing me talk about you all the time, I constantly bring up "remember when" moments.
I wish we lived a few doors down again, being able to walk down the hall to hang out with you is now a luxury that I miss. No matter how many states apart we are, you're still my best friend. I can't wait for the summer when you'll only be one state away and we can hang out all the time. I promise, we'll hang out so much that you'll get sick of me and wonder what it was like to not have to deal with me all the time (I love you, thank you for putting up with me.)
Seeing a text or snapchat from you always makes me smile and makes my day a little better. Looking through the camera roll on my phone and seeing all the old videos of us and all of our old memories, it makes me so incredibly happy that you came into my life. I can't wait for our next FaceTime call or for you to come back and visit.
Love Forever,
Your Best Friend In Another State
