An Open Letter to Chick-Fil-A

Dear Chick-Fil-A,

When the dining hall and expensive restaurants fail me, you save me. Thank you for being there for me, most of the time. Those Mondays-Saturdays we spend together make me miss you so much on Sundays. I’ve learned not to take you for granted during those days. Being a part of the team is such a great opportunity, getting to know the more about the history, loving the cow and understanding what makes Chick-Fil-A great.

You never disappoint me with our breakfast and dinner dates. I know I am making cows everywhere happier when I step foot in your restaurant. Not only do you give me a good sandwich but you pair it with crispy fries, WAFFLE FRIES, so many different sauces to choose from, and happiness.

When I’m having a bad day but can’t make it to your restaurant, your social media helps to put a smile on my face. It’s like you get me because we have the same sense of humor.

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here.
