Dear person,

First I am going to say, don’t give up. You have worked so hard to get to where you are. Yes, the easy thing would be to just go home and give up on whatever is giving you troubles but, what comes easy won’t last and what lasts won’t come easy. Don’t lose sight of your dreams, you’re probably a lot closer than you think. If you're not following your dreams then you aren't truly living and you don't truly love what you are doing. You have to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, there is still time, keep looking. You have to figure out what it is that you want and chase it. Soon, your life will become a series of trying to get someplace else. Dont settle.

Most people give up on themselves easily. They give up because they feel as though they have tried too many times and it just never works out. But you never know, the next time you try could be the time everything falls into place. Your time here is limited so don't waste it by living someone else's life. Live your own life. Everyone has opinions on who you should be or what you should do; don't let the noise of other's opinions drown out your inner voice. Have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.

It takes courage to act. It takes courage to start over again. Have the courage to be who you want to be. No fear. Fear kills dreams...fear kills hope...fear can age you...fear can hold you back. Don’t be afraid; make your goals become a reality. Accept where you are and the responsibility that you're going to take yourself where you want to go. It's not going to be easy- if it were easy everyone would do it. But know that you can do it. Everyday you say no to your dreams, you're pushing it back a lot farther than just a day.

I may not know what your situations are like. I may not be in any position to tell you what to do or how to live your life. But I do know that everyone gets a second chance. Even if it is tearing you to pieces, just stop and think about it. The world may seem like it is ending and there is absolutely nothing you can do...this is when you need to be strong. You never know how strong you are until strong is the only choice you have. Show your strength. Everyday we grow old and everyday we have one less day in our futures and one more day in our past.

Your feelings come from your thoughts. No one can do anything to you without your consent. These are choices you have that come from the way you think. It's an attitude, an approach, a belief. Believe everything out there is a miracle, everything, including you. Because it is. There are no mistakes. It's all perfect. Everything that happens to you in your life, there's a lesson in it. No limit people understand the lesson in life and therefore celebrate the lessons. It’s time to take your life in your own hands and be the kind of person that you choose to be and understand that everything that comes your way is an opportunity, it a blessing. Celebrate everything that comes your way.

Everyone out there is rooting for you. Your parents, your friends, the rest of your family... everyone. They all want to see you succeed and finally achieve your dreams. Even strangers want you to achieve them. Each and every one of them are here to help you. If you need a sholder to cry on, someone to talk things out with or even someone to sit and do homework with you, someone is always there to do that. If you don't appreciate what you have now, all you'll ever want is more. What you have is your uniqueness, your specialness and you don't need anything else. You already are everything you are. You have everything you need to be perfection. Take what you are and accept it. Nobody is going to accept it for you.

It's so cliche to say live everyday like its your last. I am most certainly guilty of not doing this. I understand it is difficult to live like that but it's up to you to decide. Just live one day like it's your last. One day! Just don’t worry about any responsibilities for that day and do things you've always wanted to do but never got the chance to. You can change and make your life as absolutely perfect as you want it to be because thought makes it so. Be who you are.

The last chapter of your life has not been written yet. When writing the story of your life, don’t let anyone else hold the pen. The rest of your life is a long time and whether you know it or not it is being shaped right now. By the dreams you have. The choices you make. The person you decide to be. Every step you take. Write the story you want people to read. Take a moment and feel the sunshine on your face.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
