People come and go into our lives constantly. I believe that all of them impact us, in some way or another, whether we realize it or not. We are shaped by our experiences, interactions, and the relationships we form.
Some stay. These are the friends who love you unconditionally, and who you just seem to click with. You both put in effort to keep the friendship alive. You know that whether you speak to them on a daily basis or not, you will always be close.
Some leave. This typically is to the fault of no one -- people change. Our interests pull us in different directions, we grow busy with our personal lives, our natural affinities for one another can fade, and we grow as individuals. Life has a way of weaving us in and out of each other's worlds. We don't stay close or keep in touch with all of the friends we make, but we will never forget about them.
So, to my friends I've grown apart from, I want you to know that I still care about you.
I will always be your friend, even though we may not be as close as we used to.
I wonder how you're doing and wish you well.
I miss you.
I'll always be here for you. If you need an old friend to talk to, please know you can always rely on me. Please don't be afraid to reach out.
I still love you! I cherish all of the memories we've made, even if we haven't made many recently.
Thank you for being my friend. I know that at a certain point in my life, you were exactly who I needed.
Thank you for teaching me. I know I wouldn't be the same had I not met you.
If I have ever hurt you, I want you to know that I'm sorry.
I never meant to lose you. I want you to know that our drifting away was not intentional -- our overlapping lives just began to fade.
You will always be important to me. You were once, and you will be forever.
Thank you for everything you have done for me. I am grateful for you, and I will always remember you.
