Dear Mom, Dad, and Matt,
We've all had a crazy year, huh? We've been through so much: crazy exes, family deaths, and even moving forward and starting new chapters in our lives. I know it may be weird for me to say this, but I'm proud of the three of you and the things you have accomplished. Matt, your job; Dad, your promotion; and Mom, starting a new business. Do you guys know how hard it is to do the things that you have accomplished? You all inspire me to do the best I can do every day. You guys are amazing in my eyes and I hope to get to where you all are eventually.
Not only are you guys my role models but I appreciate everything you guys have done. For the small and large things in life. Those days that you help talk me down from various panic attacks (and tears), for helping with college, and helping me when I desperately needed food, and for supporting me no matter what was going on in my life. I do have to say, Mom and Dad, after all of that advice you guys gave me while dating my crazy boyfriends....You were right. There I said it. No I'm not saying it again!
Matt, this one is going to go out to you. Thank you for those younger years and older ones where you helped protect and take care of me. Saying I appreciate what you've done, would truly be an understatement. You were my first friend and taught me how to get down and dirty. You helped me get through some of the rougher times of school and gave me advice when I needed it. I cherish the times where we had talks while driving to or from Keene. As well as the bonding we had when Mem passed away. I wouldn't want to change anything.
I love our weird, quirky family. It's perfect, I don't know how I was so blessed to be born into such a family but I do know I am going to give the world the same kindness and love that you guys have shown me. As I get older, we begin to grow closer and understand each other more and I hope this continues. I wouldn't trade this bond and love for anything in the world. I love you all so dearly.
Love,
Katelyn
