Dear Big,
I came back to my dorm room from class today to find a surprise from you, and I’m beyond ecstatic to know I have a big sister watching over me. The number one reason I joined Greek life a month ago was to find my home, and there is no doubt in my mind I’ve found it. From an amazing bid night (which just so happened to be my birthday! Best present ever.) to getting to know my new sisters, it's been an incredible experience. I'm now surrounded by the most kind, intelligent group of girls I've ever met, and I know I ended up in the right place.
But now it’s time for the next step: to have a big sister! I am beyond excited to have you in my life and to share my sorority experience with you. I can’t wait to be able to turn to you for everything Greek life and more, from learning all about our organization, to figuring out what formal dress to wear, to bothering you asking what selfie angle makes me look best. I hope you’re ready for the most loyal and annoying little, because she’s right here!
Thank you so so much for leaving me the nicest gifts today and for already showing me so much love. As I go to classes and try to manage my busy schedule, you're taking the time behind the scenes to break into my room (but not in a breaking and entering kind of way) and leave me awesome things. Bid day may have been my birthday, but this is Christmas.
I can't wait to do everything even remotely big-little related together, and I really hope we'll be slaying the Instagram game. I'm sure we'll be throwing what we know together, and I hope you're prepared to take 100 pics for every post because I'm the worst.
I'm so excited to get to know you, as well as to meet your big! I'm fully expecting my grand-big to shower me in butterscotches and sugar packets every time I see her. Anything less will prove unsatisfactory. Please pass this message along.
Based on what I recieved today, I already know I'm going to love you. At this point, all I can do is allow the breaking and entering to continue, and hope that I live up to everything a little can be and more.
I can't wait to wear our letters together.
Love,
Your little
