Dear Mom,
It's hard to believe we're finally here. The summer has flown by with endless trips to Target and IKEA (sorry, I changed my room color scheme 4 different times). We've printed off the "Ultimate College Packing List" and checked it twice, and now it's time to go.
As difficult as change can be I feel prepared thanks to the life lessons and values you have instilled in me. There are not nearly enough words to describe how thankful I am for everything that you have done for me. You have supported all my endeavors no matter how demanding they may have been. From driving across the state for soccer games to spending countless hours listening to me recite the same speech.
You have taught me how to be strong and to have thick skin. And as for my sass and sarcasm it's pretty safe to say I have gotten that from my momma too.
Thanks for being my favorite coffee date, concert partner and biggest motivator. I aspire to one day be half the woman that you are. I will be counting down the days until I'm home again to eat Skinny Pop and watch Law & Order with you.
Love,
Your little girl
