Dear Mom and Dad,

Words cannot describe how honored I am to be your child. You tell me how proud you are of me every day, but you should know that I am proud of you. I am proud that you are so selfless, so caring, and loving. I am proud of what you have done. I am proud to be your child. Everyday you amaze me and overwhelm me with love. You inspire me on so many levels and I do not know what I would do with out you. You make my days brighter and my life so complete. Not everyone is as blessed as I am but I am over flowing with blessings considering how great you are. Everything you do does not go unnoticed and I hope to one day be as half amazing as you are.

I know my transition to college was hard, and I think it was equally as hard for both parties. Just know that everyday I miss you more and more. I love coming home and wish I could go home every weekend.

I cannot thank you enough for sending me to college. I know I am farther than expected, but I know that it is the best fit for me. Thank you for allowing me to be a first generation student, it is so amazing and I hope to make you proud. I use everyday to improve myself and my academics to prove it was worth all the stress, worry, and saving. Every dollar you have put into me I promise I will put to the best use. You taught me so much and I can never repay you.

You both have inspired me in so many ways and you will never know how much you have taught me. I may not be able to buy you a beach condo when I graduate, but I will always take care of you.

I love you so much,

Brianna

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
