Hillary,
"And one of the worst things he said was about a woman in a beauty contest. He loves beauty contests, supporting them and hanging around them."
You have no right to bash your opponent for his ways of treating women because these words that you spewed show your ignorance and your lack of respect for hundreds of thousands of women across the globe. As a former pageant queen, I am disgusted with your implication that pageantry is something negative.
Your fault began with referring to the Miss Universe organization as merely a "beauty contest." Sure, the women that compete are beautiful, but they are not judged on their beauty alone. They answer tough questions (much better than you do), they are judged on their confidence, their poise, and their health and fitness. Even the Miss Universe organization states that it "is more than a beauty pageant: women aspiring to become Miss Universe must be intelligent, well-mannered, and cultured."
For me, these so-called "beauty contests" have shaped me into the young woman I am today. They have given me confidence. They have taught me poise, communication skills, and how to be healthy. There is nothing wrong with pageants or pageant competitors. In fact, I met some of the most amazing women throughout my time in the pageant realm. Pageants empower women, they are not degrading. You, on the other hand, have minimized and ridiculed the accomplishments of every incredible woman that has ever competed in a pageant....
...including yourself! That's right, Hillary. There is no hiding the fact that in 1964, you competed in a "beauty pageant." It is not clear whether or not you won the Maine Township Junior Miss America pageant, but based on your bitterness and poor speaking skills, I am going to assume that you did not.
Now that you've been exposed, and ridiculed by many competitors in the world of pageantry, it's time to issue an apology to both pageantry competitors and to Donald Trump, as well as use your debate time for more important topics.
Signed,
A former pageant queen.
