Dear High School Seniors,
First of all, congratulations. You’re halfway through your last year of high school. By now, you probably feel worn out and tired. You’re probably feeling like you want to give up. My advice: don’t. You’re so close to the end.
Whenever exams or the end of the school year was close, my principal would come on the announcements and tell us to finish strong. This is exactly what you need to do. I get it, you’re feeling the procrastination and you feel like giving up, but you just can’t.
You’ve been dreaming about graduation day for months now, haven’t you. I had a countdown started before the school year even began. I know I wasn’t the only one either. I have no doubt in my mind that you do too.
Graduation day was one of the greatest days for me. I was finally able to finish that chapter of my life and put everything that had happened behind me. I was ready for a new beginning at college. I was just itching to get away and do something new with my life.
Even though it seems as though the year will never end, I can promise that it comes quicker than you expect. Just take it one day at a time and you’ll be walking across that stage in no time.
Just remember, keep moving forward, and finish strong.
