To my Future Husband,

First and foremost, thank you. Thanks for entering my life and showing me a whole new perspective on life and everything in it. You have shown me that I am beautiful in every way, shape, and form. Thanks for being “my person” and sticking by my side through the thick and the thin and when I freak out over the little stuff. You’re my rock and I couldn’t be me without that strong foundation. I’m thankful for that look you give me when you know I’m upset and only you can cheer me up. Thanks for being you and allowing me to fall more in love with you each and every day.

Now, I want to tell you I love you. I love the way that you look and glance at me when you think I don’t know you are. I love that I can be myself around you and not have to worry about what anyone else thinks. I love that you love my quirks and my awkwardness. I love that I can look at you and know you love me completely with all your heart and soul. I love that you want to share life with me. I love that I can look at you and want no other man but you. I love the idea of coming home to you after a long day at work knowing that I have you all to myself, forever and always. I love you.

Props to you. I mean MAD PROPS. If you’re reading this, then you must have exceeded my standards by a mile. You were able to lure me in and shatter my expectations. Let me tell you, that is not easy. You’re definitely one-of-a-kind and I’m glad because that means you were made just for me. I can’t tell you how many times I prayed to God just asking for hints about you. I prayed you would walk into my life and capture my heart just like He did. You’re loving, respectful, honest, and true. I know because I kept my standards high for a guy like you.

I’m really excited to spend the rest of my life with you. I can sing at the top of my lungs in the shower and know that you’ll be there to sing along with me. *I’m horrible at singing by the way* I know you can look at me and think of how adorable and cute I am. I know that you’ll let me live my dreams and hopefully we can pursue ours together. You make me feel like I’m on top of the world and that I can do anything I set my mind on. You’ll let me craft at 2 in the morning or watch movies until daylight. I’m so excited to share my life with you and to see all the memories we’ll make on this journey together. One filled with laughter and love, joy and hope, sadness and tears, and generosity and kindness. I’m ready to grow both as a person and as a couple, and I wouldn’t want to adventure with anyone else except for you.

Now, if I get mad…please don’t let me go. I’m good at leaving and I’m good at running away from my problems. I know if I do, I’ll never have to face them because they don’t exist. Hold me close in these times, make me face my problems, and help me get through them because you always know what to do. Help me break open my bottle. Help me feel things I’ve never felt before. Reach deep into my soul and help me find myself. When I get sad, be there as a shoulder to cry on, an ear that listens, and open arms that embrace me close. You’re my rock and my rock you will be forever. Let neither of us go to bed mad or upset. Let’s talk things out because that’s what we do best. Hold my heart close and never let me go. Tell me that everything will be okay and that we’ll make it through. We aren’t quitters, right? Say sorry for the things we’ve done wrong and own up to our mistakes. Forgiveness makes love grow stronger.

I’m not going to say our relationship is perfect because it isn’t. It’s filled with mistakes, but those help us grow and move on. We’re going to go through the ups and downs, but we’re going to go through them together. I’ve prayed for you since I was just a kid, and now I’ve finally found you. Thanks for being you and I can’t wait to see where life takes us.

Love,

Your Future Wife

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time. Ever heard of “pain is temporary, but GPA is forever?” Pre-meds don’t just embody that motto; we live and breathe it. Here are 10 symptoms you’re down with the pre-med student syndrome.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
