Dear Daughter,
I want to tell you something. Something so important that I'm writing this years before are born. First, I want you to know that you will always be loved no matter what. Even through all the fights we will have and the "I Hate You's," I will love you to the end of the earth. I promise to always fight in your corner with you so you never feel like you have to take on the world alone. Second,I promise to teach you that it's okay to be yourself and to love who you are. I hope you never feel as if you aren't worthy enough because you are.
I promise to buy you ice cream and cry with you over you're first break-up. I also promise to come to every sporting event, choir concert, and everything in between. You'll have some of the most amazing siblings around and the hardest working and loving parents. I promise to teach you to stand up for other people when no one else is doing it and I hope you'll be friends with the "underdogs" just like your mom was. You won't ever feel like you can only depend on a man to do things for you. You will be strong and independent. My final promise is that you'll become such amazing women, that you'll be able to pass these values onto your own daughters.
With Love,
Your Mom
