Dear Future Bridesmaids...

I will always need you by my side.

Dear Future Bridesmaids...

There have been many letters written to "my future husband" and "the man who will ask me to marry him one day," but there hasn't been much said to the ladies...so this one goes out to my future bridesmaids.

To my dearest friends,

Thank you for standing by my side all this time. Thank you for supporting me on the biggest and most important day of my life thus far.

I want you to know that even though I might not express it when the time comes, I appreciate you. I know that leading up to my wedding day, I might not be completely sane. I know that I might have driven you completely crazy by the time my special day arrives, and I'm sorry for that. But know that I picked you for a reason- I know from experience that you can handle me at my worst and help me to be my best, and that's exactly what I'm going to need on my wedding day.

Whether you are my sister, my friend, or my future sister-in-law, I want you up there with me. I can't wait to give you something pretty to ask you to be my bridesmaid. I can't wait for us to fangirl over the ring my fiance picked out for me. I can't wait to call you, FaceTime you, run to your front door and jump up and down in excitement of my big day! You've been there for me through all of life's obstacles, now I want you to party with me as I celebrate marrying my best friend.

I promise not to pick out a terrible dress for you to wear. I've seen "27 Dresses" and I've been a bridesmaid-- I don't hate you, I want you to look fabulous at my wedding. I'm going to keep those pictures forever, I won't have my closest friends looking bad. Just, please promise me that you'll also help me pick out the dress of my dreams. Help me feel like the princess I always dreamed of being, and remind me that my wedding day is about me and my future husband, not the dress.

I may not need you to be my bridesmaid yet, but that doesn't mean I don't need you by my side right here and now. I love each of you and how you have contributed to my life. Without you, I wouldn't be the woman I am now, and I wouldn't be able to grow into the woman God designed me to be. So please, keep challenging me, cheering me on, eating ice cream and watch chick flicks with me. Remind me that no matter what, God has a man picked out especially for me. I promise to do the same for you.

I am so excited that I get to live life with all of you until that special day where we all dress up and you stand by me as I say "I do." We get to grow closer, we get to keep doing life together, and we get to see God's plans for us unfold. I am so incredibly grateful for each of you... I hope you know that.

My wedding day will be one of smiles, laughter, happy tears, great dancing (well, hopefully), and lots of pictures. The months leading up to that will be full of phone calls, lunch dates, envelope stuffing parties, checklists, and much much more. Until then, thank you for being my girls.

Love always,

A future bride

College Informations

Most of us have already started the spring semester, and for those of you who haven't started yet, you suck.

It seems like coming back from winter break wouldn't really be a break all things considered, since we all come back to school and pick up right where we left off. We know exactly what to expect, yet we're unprepared every single time.

I'm serious

There are tons of unisex names that are popular: Taylor, Alex, Bailey, etc. There are also numerous names that are used for both sexes, but they’re not seen as “unisex” yet. People are slowly becoming accustomed to the dual use of these names, but for the most part, in their minds they associate certain names with certain sexes. And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.

You know that all of these things apply to you. You'll just never tell.

I'm an anthropology major, and I love every minute of it. I couldn't tell you why, but I guess there's just something about studying different lifestyles that absolutely fascinates me. But anthropology majors definitely have our weird sides, especially when you go to a school that is filled with mostly Business and Bio majors. But us weirdos definitely have a lot in common, specifically these 16 things.

pale girl

Everyone has insecurities, that's just a fact. You didn't ask to be born this way. You didn't ask to inherit the one trait no one else in your family has. And you definitely didn't ask to be this ghostly white. But as soon as you've learned to live with it for a while (less wrinkles later on in life, right? right???) someone has to ruin it for you. They have to flaunt they're perfectly tanned body from Spring Break and hold their sun-kissed skin against yours. But I've had enough... here are the things that perpetually pale individuals are tired of hearing.

Being a music major is not all kicks and giggles. In fact, there are days when I question my sanity and doubt myself as a musician. I know I am not the only one going through the struggle, and so here are 13 GIFs that I know my fellow music majors can relate to...
