An Open Letter to Corinne From The Bachelor

Dear Corinne from the Bachelor,

Honestly, I don’t even know where to start with you. When I first started this season, I was like, “Yep, this girl is the new Olivia,” but actually, you are just on a whole other level. Girl, why are you so crazy?

I know you’re not there to make friends. You’re there to find love, but don’t you think it’s a red flag not a single person in the house likes you? Being comfortable in your own skin and confident in your sexuality is so important. I wish I could embrace my own self as much as you embrace yours, but you are just being trashy. There is a difference between confidence and being cheap.

Did the producers put you up to this? I wouldn’t be surprised if they did. You keep stirring up the pot and part of me wonders if you’re only a contestant to create drama and gain ratings. I mean, on last week’s group date you actually took your bikini top off and forced Nick into “holding your bare bosoms.” Everyone knows you were jealous of Sarah’s naturalist outfit, but keep it classy, sister. This was a mock wedding photo shoot, not a Playboy centerfold spread.

Do you hear yourself speak? Your “advice” is literally a joke! I wonder what you think now, as you’re watching the episodes with the rest of America. Of course the Bachelor is going to “get weird.” It’s reality TV, but please leave that up to the producers.

But whatever, you are who you are, Corinne. That’s great. Keep doing you! I guess the real problem lies with Nick. What’s his deal? He’s either looking for love or he’s not. If he wants a serious relationship, which I’m assuming he does because this is his fourth go around with the Bachelor franchise, why is he even bothering wasting his time with such an evil, vindictive, super villain? Sure, Corinne might be a good time, but is she really wife material? Um, no.

Every “Bachelor Monday” I sit here and ask myself why I keep watching this god-awful show. Maybe it’s because I’m obsessed with the shark girl, who apparently is a dolphin, or maybe it’s because I thrive on this ridiculous drama. Whatever the reason is, one thing is for sure- Corinne has got to get it together. Stop playing with people’s emotions, stop being annoying and entitled, and stop thinking that Nick is in love with you.

Sincerely,

Every Bachelor Fan Everywhere

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?

I've been super busy lately with school work, studying, etc. Besides the fact that I do nothing but AP chemistry and AP economics, I constantly think of stupid questions that are almost impossible to answer. So, maybe you could answer them for me, and if not then we can both wonder what the answers to these 15 questions could be.
