To all coffee connoisseurs,

Take a moment and imagine yourself sitting in your favorite coffee shop. For me, that is sitting by the window at a round wooden table, dark brown in color and smooth to the touch. Sitting on that table is the perfect cup of a Kaladi Latte, which is a signature drink of Kaladi Brothers Coffee from my hometown of Anchorage, Alaska. In the latte is chocolate, coffee, and vanilla syrups mixed to perfection hidden beneath the layers of foam, espresso, and milk. When I look up from my cup I see tall picturesque mountains covered in snow, sweeping down into the snow covered forest that stops where the road begins. The sound of hushed conversations and the scream of the espresso machine fill my ears.

At this moment you are all probably craving to be at your local hot spot and drinking that perfect cup of coffee that you love. Being at a coffee shop is one of my favorite places to be. There are days when my friends and I just want to escape campus and going to a coffee shop is always a good idea. This year for me, Starbucks has become my go to spot to go study. Studying at Starbucks fills my coffee addiction needs with free refills on coffee and tea.

When the day isn’t going your way, just the smell of coffee can change the mood you are in. Every new place you travel to you try the local coffee shops before you possibly settle for Starbucks if the local places just don’t do it for you. Then there are the rare moments when the amazing people in your life surprise you with you favorite cup of coffee at any point in your day. Just making your day happy, and filled with the love you have for coffee and the amazing person in your life that brought you, your favorite drink. When it comes time to creating your Christmas wishlist, a giftcard to your favorite coffee shop is sure to make the list.

There are days when you are adventurous and decide to try something new on the menu, and then there are the days when you just want the usual. Upon arriving at your favorite spot, the baristas know you and your order instantly and you are both on first name basis. That tells you right there just how much you love coffee, and how much you frequent the shop. Nothing to be ashamed of there, works out well on the days you are in a rush and when you get up to the counter your coffee may already be there for you.

So, to all you coffee consumers, coffee lovers, and coffee drinkers. Keep on drinking your coffee and fueling your addiction on a day to day basis.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"
