To The Best Grandma Ever, Where Do I Even Begin?

Gram, you have been there for me since the day I was born up until now and every milestone in between.

To The Best Grandma Ever, Where Do I Even Begin?

Dear Grandma,

Where do I even begin? There aren’t enough words to let you know how much I appreciate our special bond. I cannot imagine a life where I can’t pick up the phone when I am stressed or just in a bad mood and not have you talk me through it and comfort me.

You have played such a major role in my upbringing, and I am so thankful for you and your unconditional love.

You are a beautiful soul and I admire your strength and your ability to make conversation with anyone in a room.

You’re kind-hearted and free-spirited and give off the best vibes.

You have faith in even the toughest of times and the support you give me and the people around you is beyond amazing.

The love and compassion you display for your family and friends makes it clear that you’ve got a true heart of gold.

Thank you for raising my momma to be the person she is today. I know she is going to be a grandmother as great as you when I have kids of my own one day.

Gram, you have been there for me since the day I was born up until now and every milestone in between. I don’t say this often, but I want you to know that I am here for you, whenever you need someone to tell you that everything will be ok.

I love you forever, keep being your spunky self.

— Christina

7 Ways to Make Your Language More Transgender and Nonbinary Inclusive

With more people becoming aware of transgender and non-binary people, there have been a lot of questions circulating online and elsewhere about how to be more inclusive. Language is very important in making a space safer for trans and non-binary individuals. With language, there is an established and built-in measure of whether a place could be safe or unsafe. If the wrong language is used, the place is unsafe and shows a lack of education on trans and non-binary issues. With the right language and education, there can be more safe spaces for trans and non-binary people to exist without feeling the need to hide their identities or feel threatened for merely existing.

singing
Cambio

Singing is something I do all day, every day. It doesn't matter where I am or who's around. If I feel like singing, I'm going to. It's probably annoying sometimes, but I don't care -- I love to sing! If I'm not singing, I'm probably humming, sometimes without even realizing it. So as someone who loves to sing, these are some of the feelings and thoughts I have probably almost every day.
