Online shopping has made life so much easier, but plenty of things can go wrong. It has its ups and downs, but at the end of the day, everyone reverts back to it. If you are a frequent online shopper, you probably have some sort of love/hate relationship with it and know these things to be true. What do you love and hate about online shopping?
1. The convenience of buying everything at home in your pajamas is wonderful.
Now you don’t even have to get out of bed to make purchases that you probably don’t need!
2. Actually, just the convenience of buying anything from anywhere.
It’s nice to be away from home or not at the store and have the ability to buy basically anything.
3. Avoiding the rush of the sale crowds — especially on Black Friday.
This is especially great for those who like to enjoy their shopping (AKA peacefully shopping without constantly bumping into other crazy people/not having to run to the rack to get the last shirt in your size) while getting amazing deals.
4. Getting suggested purchases from websites like Amazon is both amazing and terrible at the same time.
Sometimes, this makes you question what in the world other people were buying when they bought the same product/why they needed it. If it happens to not be some freaky suggestion and is actually something you like, well, there goes more money.
5. Price searching.
Who doesn't like saving money? If you like to find the best deal, the internet helps tremendously. So if you've already found the best deal you're looking for, why not purchase it immediately?
6. You don't always get what you pay for.
If it seems sketchy, chances are it is. If you see a $700 prom/formal dress being sold for $49.99 plus shipping and handling, a little red flag should go off. First you are excited to finally open your new purchase, but that feeling soon turns to fear when you realize the terrible mistake you made.
7. Paying for express shipping and not getting your purchase within 2 days.
Tell me, why was the shipping $20 extra when it came at the same time something with free shipping would have? I’ll wait.
8. Even worse — never getting your package.
This is the absolute worse. Fortunately, there are some companies that are willing to compensate for your package that was lost in the mail or never shipped... but that’s not always the case.
