Netflix is great for binge watching, but over the several shows I have watched I believe "One Tree Hill" is one we can all relate to life. It has so many life lessons, on relationships, family, and what it means to be who you truly are.
Find that "best friend"
Just like in the beginning of the series of "One Tree Hill," Haley and Lucas were best friends ever since they could remember. They made yearly goals of what they wanted to accomplish, relationships or not they made goals that wanted to achieve. Even though things may not be okay and they drift apart when they truly need someone Lucas and Haley always come back to each other because they know they can trust each other.
Have that "Karen/Lucas" relationship with your mom or dad
Of course, every kid doesn't get along with their parents 100% of the time, but they're your biggest supporter and your biggest cheerleader. Yes, they might not be happy with some of the decisions you make but they will be there to give advice and offer to help in any way they can.
Find that "Framily Group"
Yes, I know this word isn't used at all in the show, but Peyton, Lucas, Haley, Nathan and Brooke because a "framily" They went through every hard time, and every struggle together. When Lucas was in the car accident that his Uncle Keith caused his friends were there. When Haley was hit by the car, and Lucas collapsed everyone was there. No matter what the hardship was this group stuck together, because they're a family.
Have an Uncle Keith and Lucas relationship
Ever since Lucas was little he remembered he always had Uncle Keith to look up too. Keith taught him everything he knew about cars and everything he needs to know about life. Even when we sadly lost Uncle Keith, but he gave Lucas small lessons to learn so he could be prepared to be that same uncle to Jamie. You don't really see that until Jamie starts asking questions about who Uncle Keith was, and then he said "You're kind of my Uncle Keith aren't you?" and Lucas agree and then it all made sense.
The River Court
The River Court was such a special place for all of them, from shooting hoops and hanging out as friends, the cast of OTH always enjoyed there time out at the court. Even before Lucas and Nathan liked each other they played a one on one game to see who was going to be the only Scott boy on the team. Even though it was a bad way to get everyone to the court they all came together.
Although "One Tree Hill" is no longer a current TV show, I believe it will always be a good show to relate to, considering all the lessons we can learn from it, and even take from it.
