10 Things To Love About "One Tree Hill"

For a total of nine years, there was a TV show that seemingly swept the nation; millennials gushed over it, because this show brought the perfect amount of comedy, drama, suspense, plot twists, and romance.

This show is none other than One Tree Hill.

I watched it for the first time last year, and sped through all nine seasons in an embarrassingly short amount of time. SInce then, every one I meet or run into I tell them to watch this show because it will change their life.

There are countless memorable things and people from One Tree Hill, but here is only ten of them:

1. Nathan Scott and Haley James

Let's face it; Nathan and Haley are relationship GOALS. They have their hurdles, as most relationships do, but there's could survive the rockiest of mountains. (Plus, James Lafferty is a fine looking man.)

2. Lucas Scott's generosity and charisma

Lucas was raised by a single mom, and this mom has totally taught her son the manners of a gentleman. Lucas has not only a charming personality, but an endearing, compassionate heart; really, Lucas can inspire anyone to just be a better person.

3. Brooke. Freakin. Davis

When girls lay their head down at night and dream about the person they wanna be some day, they think of Brooke Davis. (Oh, wait, just me?)

4. Dan Scott

We love to hate him.

5. The River Court

Not only is it a popular place for the characters in the show to hang out, bond, and make memories; us fans also find it a place of comfort..Plus, we wish every minute that we could hang out with the OTH crew at the river court.

6. Clothes over Bros

"Zero is NOT a size."

7. Peyton's Punk Rock Attitude

We love Peyton for her punk-ish charm and her complete adoration for all the good music out there. She knows how to speak her mind and has a bit of sass to her that just seems to work.

8. Quotes That Hit Ya In The Feels

"It's the oldest story in the world, one day you're seventeen and planning for someday..."

9. James Lucas Scott, Age 5

He's the cutest kid on the planet, hands down.

10. Chris Keller

Like a delicious bowl of your favorite ice cream, he is the chocolate syrup on top. He'll make you laugh; though he manages to cause chaos, we still find ourselves absolutely loving him.

11. Tree Hill

"There's only one Tree Hill, and it's your home."

Oh, and it's our home, too. It so is.

10 Thoughts Of A 5th Year Senior

What about those of us who don't do it all in four years?

"College will be the best four years of your life" is a phrase that we have all heard growing up. College is painted as a magical place to us while we are in high school. A place you go to learn, meet your best friends and probably have the time of your life while all of this is going down. Four whirlwind years, where everything that you've known changes and you start to learn what it means to live on your own, have a job, etc. But what about those of us who don't do this all in four years? Major changes, hard courses, switching schools, career paths changing, these are just a handful of factors that could extend your four years to five, six or seven. There is nothing wrong with taking extra time to graduate, but returning as a fifth-year is a little different. Most of your best friends have most likely graduated and moved and while you may be one of the oldest undergraduates on campus, you might feel as awkward as a freshmen. A world that became home and comfortable to you is still there but it's slightly different than you've known it to be and you have to find a groove to fall into. These are thoughts you'll have as you look ahead to returning to your college campus, with a victory lap planned.

11 Times Aubrey Plaza Described Sophomore Year

"I don't want to do things. I want to do not things."

Aubrey Plaza is one of my favorite humans in Hollywood. She's honest, blunt, unapologetic, and hilarious. I just started my sophomore year of college, and found that some of her best moments can accurately describe the start of the school year.

1. When your advisor tells you that you should declare a major soon.

2. Seeing the lost and confused freshmen and remembering that was you a short year ago, and now being grateful you know the ins and outs of the campus.

3. Going to the involvement fair to sign up for more clubs knowing that you are already too involved.

4. When you actually do the reading required for the first class.

5. Seeing your friends for the first time since last semester.

6. When you're already drowning in homework during syllabus week.

7. Realizing you don't have the same excitement for classes as you did as a freshman.

8. Going home and seeing people from high school gets weirder the older you get.
