There are so many misconceptions about girls that have more male friends than female. "She hooks up with all of them." "She is such a tease." NO. JUST STOP IT RIGHT NOW.
Hanging out with mostly guys does not, I REPEAT, does NOT make a girl easy. If anything, it makes her easy going. Being one of the guys is awesome for the soul, mind, and body (in some aspects). Bros with a bra can most definitely hold their own in a conversation about all things sports and beer. They can rock a baseball hat better than anyone, and make the best girlfriends because they are truly less dramatic. *insert joke about the hot dog meme here*
Being one of the guys, I learned that there is much more behind males than their hard exterior. They put up a rugged front but have deep compassion for the people they care about. They would drive through a hurricane and back for me, and knowing that I am so excited for their future relationships. Yes future relationships, because we are NOT dating, nor we will ever date. We've known each other long enough to realize we do not belong together.
My guy friends have taught me that they do not just look at the physical aspect of females, mostly. I can be around them in sweatpants and makeup free and they will still respect me. Which rocks because makeup is expensive and bad for the pores.
Most importantly, guys are there to call you back to reality when you have a Class A jerk of a boyfriend/flavor of the week that you are catching the feelings for. They slap some sense into you when you truly need it. They see right through their act and will call them on it faster than anyone can say stop. They have saved many tears and even wiped a few when they saw the act too late.
The girls that hang out with guys are always down and willing to sit on the couch watching that nights game drinking a beer and eating chips and salsa. They do appreciate a night out now and then, and when they do go out they do not hold back. They can rock some hot clothes and killer makeup just as much as Regina George. Beware the girl that hangs out with all guys, because she will drink you under the table and stay up until sun up.
