One DJ You Need To Follow On Snapchat

If you’re like me, I rarely watch people’s stories on Snapchat. Unless it’s someone I really know well or it’s a celebrity like Kylie Jenner, you won’t see my name come up in the list of people who has viewed your story. But one person’s account in particular never ceases to amaze me. He is a DJ, he is 29 years old, he is known for not giving a f**k or s**t; he is Dillon Francis.

This guy, man, let me tell you. He is one of the most ridiculous humans ever and I wish he was my friend. Every time I open Snapchat I always scroll down to his name to watch his stories—You can’t not laugh hysterically. He does and says the most random and ridiculous things like having conversations with himself, but every other video is of him dressed up as another person, so it’s him talking to himself as someone else. It sounds absurd I know, but you just have to see for yourself. It also baffles me how he has so much time on his hands to create such elaborate mini-movies on his snap story. He is the most random person; I just don’t understand how he comes up with these things and decides to put them in a story and have it just work.

For instance, Gerald, the infamous piñata that stars in his music video “Candy” always make an appearance in Dillon’s stories. Dillon will strategically place Gerald in different areas of his house and make it look like Gerald is moving around and doing human things and asking him questions like he is talking to another human being. Like, what?

Also, Dillon recently acquired Snapchat's new Snapchat Spectacles, which have totally changed the game in his snapchatting. You can now live Dillon's life pretty much through his own eyes. These Snapchat Spectacles are sunglasses you can wear that have a built-in camera so you can record a regular 10 second snap video hands free.

Dillon's most recent video was of him narrating his workout at a CrossFit gym in L.A.

With the hands free videoing, he has the ability to go out about his day with no hassle of holding a phone in his hand. In this case, Dillon is busy using his hands to workout; throwing a medicine ball and flipping off his instructor because of the hard work he is making him do.

This might not sound all too exciting or funny, so why don't you go follow him @dillonfrancis and see what I'm talking about. You won't regret it.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"

While this question trend can get annoying, there are a couple of pros to having RBF.

Another day, another Elle Woods comment. Can’t us blondes get through the day without someone harping at us over the typical stereotypes about who we are? I never understood why a person was judged based upon the hair color they were born with, or the hair color they choose to have (unless you dye your hair blue like Kylie Jenner, I’m still trying to understand why that’s a trend). Nevertheless, as it should be assumed, not everyone is the same. Not all blondes like bright colors and Lilly Pulitzer, and not all blondes claim to identify with Marilyn Monroe. I think the best suggestion to give to people before they make such radical claims is to stop judging a book by its cover. Or in this case, stop judging a blonde by her hair color.
