It’s not just the beginning of your favorite fairy tale.

Once Upon A Time

If you are unfamiliar, Once Upon A Time is a T.V. show that has just come out with its sixth season. The show takes a new spin on the fairy tale classics that we grew up with as kids. With intriguing story lines and captivating characters, the show quickly becomes addicting to watch.

In the first season, Emma Swan, one of the shows leads, is sought out by her son, Henry, who she gave up for adoption 10 years ago. Henry insists that Emma has to come with him because the world as she knows it isn’t all it seems. Abandoned as a baby, Emma has never known family and has developed quite an inquisitive personality. It turns out that everything Henry suspected about fairy tales being real was true. The Evil Queen, also known as Snow White's stepmother, has cast a curse on all of our beloved fairy tale characters; she has trapped and kept them all frozen in time for 28 years in a little sleepy New England town called Storybrooke. All of our favorite characters are there, even if they don’t know it, from Snow White and Prince Charming to Belle and Captain Hook and everyone in between.

The audience is taken on a whole host of epic journeys with these fairy tale characters. Each tale similar, yet different, from the ones we all know and love. Additionally we are constantly meeting new characters like Mulan, Aurora, and Anna and Elsa from Frozen. Each season has a slightly different feel to it which keeps the audience that much more captivated and excited for the next season to air.

One down side to the enticing show is that it gets more and more complicated with each new episode. From the dizzying family ties we learned about in the first season to the huge influx of characters and twisted story lines of this season, it can be a bit difficult to keep everything straight.

This season, while complicated, is proving to be entertaining nonetheless! The writing is still excellent and manages to capture the essence of each character while still giving it a modern twist. The actors truly capture the essence of each character and the emotions that they portray are as if they were their own. The budget of the show also seems to have increased as they computer generated animations/visuals have become more believable and the costumes continue to get more impressive with each and every season. From the incredibly intricate princess ball gowns to The Evil Queen's stunning wardrobe, every character is surely sporting their best. Even in their modern outfits, each character is very up to date and fashion forward.

Once Upon A Time started off strong and seems to get better as it ages. I think this season has the potential to be one of the best yet with strong writing, powerful acting and endearing characters.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
