1. You “helped” your siblings by informing them of the truth about the Tooth Fairy, Easter Bunny and Santa Claus.

2. Growing up, you heard a lot of: “I don’t care who started it, you’re older, be a good example!”

3. You set the bar for your parents’ expectations. Thanks to you — or, in spite of you — your siblings now live under slightly different rules. (You’re welcome for lowering our parents’ math expectations!)

4. You were the guinea pig child — my siblings call me the “first pancake.” By the time your youngest sibling rolled around, it was like you had a totally different set of parents.

5. It was an unspoken rule that when your parents weren’t home, you were in charge. What’s the point of having the “oldest” card if you can’t use it?

7. For the most part, you’re pretty close with your parents. For a while, it was just you and them.

9. You were the mastermind behind a lot of the tomfoolery growing up.

12. You mess with your siblings just for fun.

13. But when it matters most, they can count on you.

14. You’ve tried to impart the wisdom you’ve gained.

15. But your siblings never seem to listen.

16. You feel that it’s your responsibility to protect your siblings’ innocence.

17. Yet you’re always shocked when they seem to know more than you.

18. Regardless of the silly fights or petty arguments, you love your siblings 100%.
