The graduates of 2019 are the last generation of children that were alive during 9/11, and while that is a national tragedy, on a much smaller scale we are also one of the last ones to remember Disney and Nickelodeon before they became...well, what they are now. Here are a list of the old cartoons that we still wished aired.
1. Max and Ruby
Who knew that a theme song with mainly three words could be so catchy? We were also left wondering where the heck where their parents were; wasn't Ruby like seven years old?
2. The Proud Family
A proud reminder that all out families are dysfunctional, we aren't alone. The show also encompassed the best mother and son relationship.
3.Lilo and Stitch
Lilo & Stitch taught the true meaning of ohana. It also fueled our dreams of waking up to a blue and alien dog on Christmas morning.
4. Danny Phantom
Also had a great theme song, and let's face it. He was the cutest animated ghost on the block.
5. Avatar The Last Airbender
I, personally, loved this show. It had it all: action, romance, comedy and cabbages. If you never watched it, well, Sokka's face says it all. But don't even attempt to watch the live movie-version.
6. Kim Possible
Kim Possible is probably the first example of women that can have it all. A cheerleader, tomboy, gorgeous, a bada** girl with a great boyfriend, friends and hair. This show also had a great theme song.
7. Tom & Jerry
Although Tom & Jerry aired on Cartoon Network it practically defined Sunday morning cartoons. Although it still airs, Tom and Jerry actually speak in the new rendition which is completely preposterous. Why mess with perfection?
