We need old friends to help us grow old, and new friends to help us stay young.

Dear old friends and new friends,

Life is a spiraling motion that can't stop, but with the help of you I can slow down that spiraling. Good things and bad things have been happening lately and all I can think about is the ones who have gotten me through it for all these years. As college is coming to an end, and the real world begins lots of decision are going to be made, but I want you all to know that they are being made with the helpful insight from my friends.

I never doubted any friendships that I have had in my life. I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason, and those friends that were put in your life are also there for a reason. Friends are there to teach you and support you, and you guys have definitely done a fair share of teaching me and supporting me.

To my new best friends (my current ones),

Thank you for never turning your back on me.

I know I am hard to handle.

Thank you for crying with me.

And laughing with me.

Most importantly, laughing at me.

Thank you for being spontaneous with me.

Thank you for being honest with me.

Even when I didn't want to hear it.

I have so much to thank you for that the list would just go on and on. You guys have really helped shape the women I am becoming and I don't give you all enough credit.

To my old best friends,

You taught me so much.

You taught me how to trust.

You taught me how be true to yourself.

You taught me how to manage my time better.

You taught me how to laugh through the hurt/embarrassment.

You guys have been with me the longest. We survived high school together (barely). I know I could call you up right now and have a totally normal conversation, like no time as passed at all. Thanks for sticking my by side through the good and the bad years, when we were both trying to just find ourselves, and figure out who we were. You will always have a special place in my heart, and those memories will always be important to me.

I'm just thankful to have some of the best old friends and new friends combined.

The Battle Between College And My Mental Health

College isn't easy, and I'm afraid I'm not going to make it at the rate my mental health is going.

Everyone tells you that college is hard, but they fail to explain why. Sure, classes are hard. Math sucks, and political science can be so boring. But that's not even what's killing me about college. What's killing me about college is my deterioating mental health.

As a college student, I feel as if people don't understand just how exhausted I, and fellow college students are. We have so many things going on, all the time, and sometimes it's hard to explain to people how we feel. Personally...I'm tired. I'm sad. And I'm struggling every single day with my emotions. But the thing is, it hasn't always been this way. I haven't always hated school, so why am I feeling like this now?

For the average 20-something, life moves pretty fast. You’ve got classes, friends, relationships, jobs, family, and whatever else we overcommit ourselves with. I probably should have learned to say no to adding more to my schedule a long time ago, but instead here are 11 things that can be more helpful than coffee.

Resting b***h face. Defined as a person, usually a girl, who naturally looks mean when her face is expressionless, without meaning to. Many of you suffer from this "condition." You are commonly asked what's wrong, when nothing is. What people don't know is that is just your facial expression. Here are some things they wish you knew.
