So You Support Trump

Just make sure you know what type of person you're supporting.

So You Support Trump
businessinsider

Let me start off by saying: people talk about politics. Actually, all people do is talk about politics.

If you are offended by people's beliefs or if you are offended when they say something against yours, then delete all of your social media. Better yet, don't leave your house or turn on your TV. People are going to talk about politics and that's just how it is.

So here I am talking about politics in defense of political correctness.

If you support Donald Trump, OK, but you need to understand that you are supporting a hateful, fear mongering, ignorant individual. Guys, come on, Trump is just not a good person:

1. Trump is ignorant towards women.

Here's a tweet from the real Twitter of a real presidential candidate:

So if you put men and women together it is assumed women will get raped? Sorry ladies, if you want to join the military, good luck out there because you will probably get sexually assaulted. I mean men just can’t help themselves! Man, what was America thinking by allowing women to defend their country, am I right?

If not just for his ignorant attitude towards rape, he is simply a bully:

"Rosie O'Donnell is disgusting - both inside and out. If you take a look at her, she's a slob... If I were running 'The View', I'd fire Rosie O'Donnell. I mean, I'd look at her right in the fat, ugly face of hers, I'd say 'Rosie, you're fired."

People may like to call that "speaking the truth", but us moral people like to call it bullying and blatant disregard for human decency.

Don't worry, he hasn't changed much because in a 1991 Esquire interview he said:

"You know, it doesn't really matter what [the media] writes as long as you've got a beautiful piece of ass."

He even managed to disgustingly objectify his daughter:

"She does have a very nice figure... if [she] weren't my daughter, perhaps I'd be dating her."

There are even more quotes and instances where Trump has acted this way towards women. It's truly sad that anyone supports this misogynistic man.

2. Trump is hateful towards Muslims.

Trump wants to ban Muslims from the United States. If you heard this and thought it was justifiable, then okbut maybe you need to admit that you too are hateful towards another religion, and you are probably racist.

It is hateful because you are denying people the right to practice a religion, which is the religion of Islam.

It is racist because you believe that all Muslims are terrorists when in fact terrorists such as ISIS go against the morals and principles of Islam.

Trump is not "saying what we want to hear" he is being so disgustingly hateful.

3. Trump is racist.

Here is a tidbit from Trump's speech when he announced his presidency:

"When Mexico sends its people, they're not sending their best. They're not sending you. They're not sending you. They're sending people that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems with us. They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists. And some, I assume, are good people."

It is definitely NOT racist generalizing an entire country by calling them drug lords, felons, and rapists.

Thought he was only racist towards a select few NON-white people? Don't worry he does not discriminate his love for racism:

4. Trump was a reality TV show host.

If that's not enough for you to understand how ridiculous it is that he is running for president, going back to how he is hateful towards women in his book How to Get Rich, he stated: “All of the women on ‘The Apprentice’ flirted with me — consciously or unconsciously. That’s to be expected.”

All I can say about that is: ugh.

5."OK, but he's a successful businessman." Here you go:

Please enjoy this list of Trump's top 10 business failures.

Also, even if he was a good businessman, in what way does that qualify him to run for president?

Like I said: if you support Trump, please just recognize the kind of a person you are supporting. Please do not look past his hateful and ignorant qualities because they don't personally affect you. You all want to #MakeAmericaGreatAgain, well I believe you want to #MakeAmericaWhiteAgain.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
