What 'OITNB' Character You Would Be Based On Your Zodiac Sign
The Huffington Post

If you're like me, you've been binge watching the latest season of Orange Is The New Black on Netflix and sitting on their edge of your seat with anxiety the entire time. Each character is so special and unique, no matter how small in significance to the show, and each can fit the stereotypical astrological sign personality. If you've ever wondered which character you'd be, maybe your sign can help you figure it out!

Aries - Galina “Red” Reznikov

A fire sign, Aries are warm, bright people who are vital to any group. They take initiative and have no problem working long hours on their latest project, like opening a greenhouse to grow their own veggies. Their drive can quickly be replaced with stubbornness, though, and they can become quickly impatient with those who do not think or act like them, especially if that person crosses their family. They keep their clique tight and act as the glue that holds it together. Red is the perfect example of an Aries, especially with how hot-tempered and impulsive. You’ll never see Red depressed with no hope because she always knows how to take control of a situation.

Taurus - Gloria Mendoza

Taurus’ adapt easily to their new circumstances, and always make the right choice when faced with a difficult decision. They love to laugh and spend time with those they care about. Taurus don’t like to be taken advantage of but will do whatever they need to to take care of the ones they love. Gloria shows this through her relationship with Daya and her mother, Diaz.

Gemini - Piper Chapman

This one is not so shocking. Gemini’s are charming and love to be the center of attention, even if they try to deny it, like Piper always does. Gemini tend to know a little bit of a lot of things, like Piper’s random bits of useless information she shares throughout the show. When bored, Gemini tend to make their own fun and there’s nothing more fun than creating your own used panty smuggling ring. Gemini women often change partners due to boredom and we all know how quickly Piper flip flopped between Larry, then Alex, then Larry, then Alex, then Stella. *sigh*

Cancer - Poussey Washington

Cancers often find humor in what others can’t, keeping them upbeat and fun to be around. People tend to gravitate towards Cancers like Poussey because they know a Cancer will understand them and appreciate them for who they are. Cancers never really consider using people to further themselves, and are a-ok with spending their days reading in a library and enjoying what makes them the happiest.

Leo - Suzanne “Crazy Eyes” Warren

Leos are good people who often look for the good in people, even if those people aren’t so nice to them, like when we first met Crazy Eyes as she developed a crush on season 1 Piper. They love organization and routine so they can feel in control, and trust me, you don’t want to see Suzanne when someone tries to change the prison daily routine. Leos can become clingy and overbearing with their friends because of their love for others.

Virgo - Alex Vause

Virgos aren’t really a ‘look at me!’ sign, preferring to live a more quiet and comfortable life. They are kind and truly love the people they choose to consider their family. Virgos can be overly critical, though, and can push people away if they feel as though those people are making choices that hold them back or put them at risk, like Alex does numerous times with Piper (even though she always goes back). They are very unapologetic about their opinion, even if they aren’t the first to make sure everyone knows what their opinion is, just like Alex.

Libra - Tasha “Taystee” Jefferson

Libras believe in fairness and can become agitated if they believe something is unfair or there is an imbalance of treatment. They don’t necessarily want to be the leader of any activist group, but they’re the first to speak their mind when there is an injustice, like how Taystee starts the prison revolt after Poussey’s death, but doesn’t really want to be the leader of everyone. She’d much rather deal behind the scenes and make sure things end up balanced. Libras demand to be heard.

Scorpio - Maria Ruiz

Scorpios are not a group to be messed with, as we see with Ruiz when Piper messes with her rival used panty ring. Not every Scorpio will brand you if you cross them, but they certainly aren’t afraid to take out whoever hurts them or those they care about, they invented vendettas. Once you hurt them, they don’t forget it. This also means, though, that they will protect those they care about with their lives. If you give to them, they will give back. Ruiz is the perfect example of one who takes care of her kind.

Sagittarius - Sophia Burset

Sagittarius are intelligent and kind people who prefer to be around the same. They always want to learn and be able to breathe, and can become uncooperative and angry when they have their space taken away from them, as we’ve seen with Sophia more than once, especially when she was sent away to be alone in a cell for months.

Capricorn - Nicky Nichols

Capricorns are popular among everyone they meet because they are very charming creatures. They’re highly intellectual, but this is often overlooked because they have such an internal nature of them. Whether people know it or not, Capricorn’s minds are always running about everything under the Sun, but it takes the right kind of person to appreciate them and understand them, like Red’s love for Nicky.

Aquarius - Erica “Yoga Jones” Jones

Aquarius are very friendly and kind natured, making them initially very likeable, like Yoga Jones. They tend to hone in on a specific skill very well, like Yoga, and love to share their love with those around them for other’s benefit. Very fitting, yoga is recommended for Aquarius’ because self-reflection and alone time are very important in their ability to comfortably function.

Pisces - Lorna Morello Muccio

Pisces are empathetic and this often leads them into other people’s drama, because they care enough to stick their nose into other people’s business. They feel everything very deeply, like obsessive love. Because of their proneness to intense feelings, they can often become excessively worried, like how Morello acts when she feels like her significant other is cheating on her, and leads her to act crazy.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
