Every school has struggles that its students know all too well. One of the biggest at Ohio University (if not the biggest) is the parking. No matter how much you think you can get around it, there is no easy way to deal with it. So, why not make humor from the pain? Here are 10 things we all think about when parking on campus:
1. Getting there way too early and still being late to class because of parking
There's nothing like leaving your house an hour early knowing you're going to end up circling around the parking lot 20 times before someone leaves so you can take their spot.
2. Literally hiking to class because the location of the parking lot is nowhere near your class
The worst thing about the warm weather: SO MUCH SWEAT.
3. The parking pass is way too expensive
We already pay tons of tuition, what more do you want from me?
4. Always complaining there's never enough parking on campus
Why don't you build more parking lots! You have the money!
5. Feeling lucky if your apartment complex offers a shuttle to campus
The Summit, University Courtyard, and University Commons is where it's at.
6. Annoyed when campus events dictate when and where you can park
Those darn football and basketball games.
7. Panicking over the parking-ticket-lady right when your meter runs out of time
I am still a victim of this tragedy.
8. Being so over campus parking that you'll accept that $30 ticket
Victim or not, I'm over it.
9. Feeling blessed when you find out Parking Services gives you a freebie for your first ticket
Bless you, but also...no.
10. Thinking of parking at Ohio University in general
