1. You are the worst type of person if you don't think you have to tip.
2. A server's minimum wage is NOT THE SAME as regular minimum wage!!!
3. Never treat restaurant employees like they are less than you.
4. If you can visibly see that it's crazy busy, don't complain when the food takes longer or if your server messes something up.
5. Everyone makes mistakes. Don't be a jerk because of an honest mistake.
6. The best way to deal with jerks that mistreat you is to kill them with kindness.
7. You will meet a lot of interesting and great people day after day that restore your faith in humanity.
8. You will also meet people that will make you think the entire world is going to hell.
9. We all have a lot more in common than we think, and if you get the chance to talk to a lot of different people, you'll realize that.
10. You learn to thrive in a hectic and chaotic setting such as breakfast/lunch/dinner rush.
11. Most importantly, you learn that developing people skills while working hard for your money is an incredibly gratifying feeling.
