I'm Ready For The Next Big Adventure

Life is full of many fruits. Many fruits bring different adventures, lessons, and challenges. You never want your fruit to rot, so it's best to endure all of your fruit.

Life is rich. I've realized how much you should cherish every encounter you have with people, good or bad because you never know when they will be gone. Life is complex. Life may not be what you want it to be at all times, but it is sacred. Life is adventurous.

Oh, the places you'll go. You will go far and wide. You will meet hundreds of people in your life and each will always have a mark of remembrance upon you. Let life give you the adventure that you may need or want.

It is time for me to say goodbye to college, but it has been a ride that I'll always cherish and remember. I have experienced the best and worst times in college. I've met some of the most wonderful and talented people on this planet and I am so grateful to have been in their presence.

I have grown to be a much different person than I was when I was coming into college. I am stronger, wiser, better and secure. College has taught me to be myself, take risks, challenge myself and to always remind myself that I am great. ECU is a part of me that I could never let go because it helped me blossom into the person that I am meant to be.

Beyond ECU, 'Odyssey' has given me a place to voice my thoughts. I am saddened to announce that I will not return to write, but that's only because it is time to move on to bigger things (graduate school). I have become the writer I needed and wanted to be because of the Odyssey. I am confident in myself more than ever now because I had the opportunity to use my voice to talk about the things that needed to be said.

Also, giving advice through 'How-to' articles was amazing to me. The most amazing thing is the people. Having readers who read your articles and tell you that you are brilliant is motivating and encouraging. It encourages me to continue to be the person that I am and to focus on the topics that many people would like to read.

I am on to the next step of my life. I know that I will face many challenges, many obstacles and more. I am ready to remain resilient through any and everything. The places you'll go are amazing. They are filled with many fruits. Fruits of all kind. These fruits are important as they have made some type of impact in your life. Please don't ever let your fruit rot because then there is no purpose of the fruit. Indulge in every fruit that you can have because they are all filled with many essential things that you need in your life.

Blair Waldorf

The "Gossip Girl" series may be over, but Blair Waldorf's iconic character lives in our hearts forever. Blair was the queen of the Upper East Side, and a character you either loved or hated. She taught us everything we needed to know about life, love and of course, how to score a Chuck Bass. So the next time you feel a bit lost and are in need of guidance, look no further than to the Queen B herself.

As I spend my Sunday avoiding my homework and other adult responsibilities, I realized that I've watched this series over and over about a million times. Sadly, there isn't a Blair quote I don't know, so I came up with a list of a few favorites. You know you love her...xoxo

Summer: a time (usually) free from school work and a time to relax with your friends and family. Maybe you go on a vacation or maybe you work all summer, but the time off really does help. When you're in college you become super close with so many people it's hard to think that you won't see many of them for three months. But, then you get that text saying, "Hey, clear your schedule next weekend, I'm coming up" and you begin to flip out. Here are the emotions you go through as your best friend makes her trip to your house.

Syllabus Week As Told By Kourtney Kardashian

Feeling Lost During Syllabus Week? You're Not Alone!

Winter break is over, we're all back at our respective colleges, and the first week of classes is underway. This is a little bit how that week tends to go.

The professor starts to go over something more than the syllabus

You get homework assigned on the first day of class

There are multiple group projects on the syllabus

You learn attendance is mandatory and will be taken every class

Professor starts chatting about their personal life and what inspired them to teach this class

Participation is mandatory and you have to play "icebreaker games"

Everybody is going out because its 'syllabus week' but you're laying in bed watching Grey's Anatomy

Looking outside anytime past 8 PM every night of this week

Nobody actually has any idea what's happening this entire week

Syllabus week is over and you realize you actually have to try now...or not

Now it's time to get back into the REAL swing of things. Second semester is really here and we all have to deal with it.

panera bread

Whether you specialized in ringing people up or preparing the food, if you worked at Panera Bread it holds a special place in your heart. Here are some signs that you worked at Panera in high school.

1. You own so many pairs of khaki pants you don’t even know what to do with them

Definitely the worst part about working at Panera was the uniform and having someone cute come in. Please don’t look at me in my hat.
