After four and a half years, the day has come when Zayn Malik has left One Direction. The band is gone from five members, to four. I am in the mourning process, myself. I know everyone is probably sick and tired of hearing about this. Even I am. But I thought that I would have one last hoorah, and take a walk down memory lane to the good old days in One Direction-land. Get your tissues ready, people. Here we go.
Just look at their bad haircuts and awkward posing. They were so cute and innocent. And a little awkward. But still cute and innocent.
Still so young and innocent, but a little bit hotter. Liam's hair was also in its prime.
They must have practiced their smolders in the mirror. DAMN. Also, Niall looks like a hot target employee.
I feel as if this picture needs no caption. Except for the fact that Harry is the only one not wearing white shoes, and that's a little bit bothersome.
You're not a real boy band until you've had a photo shoot with puppies. This picture includes my two favorite things in the ENTIRE WORLD. If only they were golden retrievers.
The Harry Styles quiff. My favorite hairstyle of all time. They still look good even when pretending to be tough. And two out of the five are wearing leather. What more could you ask for?
They have officially perfected the smolder. Except Niall. He just kinda looks like it s too sunny, and he can't see. He still looks good though. And badass. They all look badass. I'm in love.
Just look how happy they all look. Also look at their hair, they were all having a fantastic hair day.
I am including this picture solely for the fact that they are wearing Chicago Bears Jerseys and are in front of the Chicago skyline. Except Harry. PUT THE JERSEY ON HARRY. PUT. IT. ON.
Ahh, we have finally made it to Harry's extremely low necklines. And over-sized hats. Gotta love it. Not really, but kinda.
Last, but certainly not least—the last album photo shoot they will ever do as a fierce fivesome. I feel as if it fits their personalities swimmingly. Plus, 3/5 are wearing denim. Yum.
I hope you all enjoyed that as much as I did. Walks down memory lane can be fun, a little emotional, but fun. And remember kids, "Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened."
