We spend our time out on adventures

When we've got nothing else to do

Horses fill Payton's cup of tea

She puts time aside to ride

So on Fridays to home she'll flee

Lexi spends her time on the color guard

She spins her flags high at football games

When she's not doing that she's working really hard

This year there was a change of major

Lexi transferred to a new college

Staying at State wasn't worth the wager

2 hours and thirty minuets is how far she's away

Though our bond is a tight knot

With the gang broken up we were scared our friendship fray

Through facetime, texts, and calls

We've worked to stay in touch

It's almost like she sits with us inside the apartment walls.

It takes more than space to separate our crew

We've got each others backs
