Anchors are probably my favorite symbol! I think they are so glorious and pretty and can be used for any type of decoration. They not only represent the sea, but the endless opportunities of "Anchors away."

I first started loving anchors in high school. The 16 year old me was loving life, shopping at Forever 21, and decided to try a new style. That new style was an anchor necklace hanging from a jewelry stand. I remember it being on sale and was super excited!

Then, I found a good deal online for an anchor shirt. The shirt was long sleeved and covered with pretty navy blue anchors. The anchors were a good size, not too big or not too small, and they made my heart sing with joy!

To this day, I lost the necklace sadly but love the shirt still! In fact, I am wearing the shirt as I type this ode to anchors!

But in all seriousness, anchors mean so much more to me than just design. It means never giving up and staying firm in your beliefs. In my opinion, it is the most beautiful symbol of all time.
