The time has come, it's finally the 10th, and arguably the best month of the entire calendar year. What makes October so special, you may ask? Well you're in luck because I've got the top 11 reasons.

1. How do the leaves change so quickly?

2. What smells so good?

3. Do I really need another PSL?

4. I should start thinking about my halloween costume.

5. I wanna go apple picking!

6. Then I can make a beautiful pie.

7. Is it Fall Break yet?

8. Is it hot enough to wear sandals still?

9. It's way too early for Target to have Christmas stuff out!

10. Is it the end of the semester yet?

11. I hate winter, I never want fall to end.

And there you have it. A compilation of the thoughts we all share as the month of October progresses! Now go grab yourself a warm mug of cinnamon apply cider and procrastinate on studying for mid-terms with me!

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here. Around the town, there are some just some landmarks and places that only the people of Hauppauge will ever understand the importance or even the annoyance of.
