It has been quite some time since that conversation between Danny Ocean and Rusty Ryan has first taken place. You may know it from the crime-thriller “Ocean’s 11,” which had quite a cast with frontmen George Clooney (Ocean) and Brad Pitt (Ryan).
Also, among the cast were Matt Damon, Bernie Mac, Elliot Gould, Casey Affleck, Scott Caan, Shaobo Qin, Carl Reiner, Eddie Jemison, Don Cheadle, and Andy Garcia. Just to name a few.

The 2001 movie was actually a remake of the 1960s film starring Frank Sinatra as Danny Ocean.

But as recently announced as a part of Good Morning America’s Pop News, the fans are going to get one more. According to an exclusive from The Playlist, the franchise will take on a more femininely makeover for an all female cast reboot of “Ocean’s 11.” The 2001 film featured Julia Roberts (“Pretty Woman,” “Erin Brockovich”) as the only female star.
The idea was actually tossed around last year between the big players of the three-film "Ocean’s’ franchise: Clooney (star), Steven Soderbergh (director), and Jerry Weintraub (producer). Sadly, Weintraub passed away this past July, but the project is still in full swing The Playlist reports.
As for the cast, reportedly actress and producer, Sandra Bullock (“Miss Congeniality”, “The Heat”) will be stepping into Clooney’s shoes as she is set to play the leading lady. Clooney and Bullock recently worked on a project, “Our Brand is Crisis”, which was released October 30 with Bullock starring and Clooney producing. Originally Bullock’s role was written for Clooney, but in the end Clooney decided to work behind the scenes instead. The Hollywood stars also both starred in 2013’s Oscar winning “Gravity.”

No date as to when production will begin has yet been released; however, The Playlist confirms that a screenplay has been in the works for several months now.
It has been 55 years since the 1960 debut of “Ocean’s 11” and Dec. 7 will mark the 14 year since the 2001 debut.
