In a world that's fangirling over Barb, there are some that hold a deeper love for Dustin.

I know that the hype for Netflix’s hit “Stranger Things” has seemed to have died down a bit (unless you’re on Tumblr, that is...hype never dies). With, though, I’m dying to see what the subsequent season will hold.

One of the most interesting things about the fan following of the show is the fanbase’s infatuation with Barbara “Barb” Holland, the sassy best friend of Nancy Wheeler.

Personally, I don’t get it. Sure, she has some great lines, but she’s only in a fraction of the episodes. Even then, some of the ones she stars in feature her...well….dead. Sorry guys, but according to Millie Bobby Brown (also known as Eleven) said that Barb is gone for good.

My favorite character is adorable, hilarious, and most importantly, still alive.

Like many across the globe, my favorite character is Dustin Henderson, one of Will Byers’ lovable best friends. In my opinion, that little cutie is the real star of the show.

To honor Dustin and the actor that plays him, 14-year-old Gaten Matarazzo, here’s a list of Dustin’s finest moments. Fair warning: these are not in chronological order.

1. THE CURIOSITY DOOR

The name of this one is in caps because of how amazing it is. I’ll be honest, this line made me cry of laughter the first time I heard it. It’s childlike creativity at its finest. Never shut the curiosity door, people.

2. Finding the chocolate pudding

I think the reason why this moment made me laugh so much is because I too would be looking for chocolate pudding in a time of crisis.

3. The distraction

This is one of the moments that really embodies the phrase "coming in clutch." Need to distract your best friend's parents? Bang your fists on the table. Obviously.

4. Dustin intimidating the bullies

This one-liner (which will now and forever be used to call out that one friend...you know which one) proves Dustin's loyalty to his friends despite their, uh, flaws? Is it bad that she's crazy?

5. Calling out terrible snacks

My favorite thing about Dustin is his uncanny ability to call it like it is. His realness and honesty know no bounds, which serves as both a point of entertainment but also a grain of reality. But seriously, nothing ruins a funeral more than awful snacks.

Keep being awesome, Dustin! I can't wait to see what lies in store for you next season!

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"

While this question trend can get annoying, there are a couple of pros to having RBF.

Another day, another Elle Woods comment. Can’t us blondes get through the day without someone harping at us over the typical stereotypes about who we are? I never understood why a person was judged based upon the hair color they were born with, or the hair color they choose to have (unless you dye your hair blue like Kylie Jenner, I’m still trying to understand why that’s a trend). Nevertheless, as it should be assumed, not everyone is the same. Not all blondes like bright colors and Lilly Pulitzer, and not all blondes claim to identify with Marilyn Monroe. I think the best suggestion to give to people before they make such radical claims is to stop judging a book by its cover. Or in this case, stop judging a blonde by her hair color.
