Books on Barack and Michelle Obama's lives in the White House is coming to your local bookstore in the near future!

After a back and forth bidding, the Associated Press has confirmed that the former president and first lady have signed a deal with Penguin Publishing House according to Circa . In the agreement, they will each write one book.

The exact payout wasn't disclosed, but some sources have speculated that it was well up in the millions range.

Circa noted that in a statement, Penguin Random House CEO Markus Dohle said "We are absolutely thrilled to continue our publishing partnership with President and Mrs. Obama."

He continued by saying"With their words and their leadership, they changed the world, and every day, with the books we publish at Penguin Random House, we strive to do the same. Now, we are very much looking forward to working together with President and Mrs. Obama to make each of their books global publishing events of unprecedented scope and significance."

It's believed that both of their books will most likely focus on how their lives during and after the White House.

The power couple plan to donate a huge portion of the proceeds made from their books to charity.
