Throughout the past 8 years, Barack Obama and Joe Biden have not only been the President and Vice President of the United States of America, but they have also showed us the best friendship goals you could possibly ask for. I mean, who wouldn’t want to run a country with your best friend at your side? This past weekend the new president was officially inaugurated, so regardless of your political stance, let’s just take a moment to look back on the best moments of the Obama and Biden bromance with so much happiness, and so many memes.
Throughout the entire past eight years, we have seen the President and Vice President continue to raise the bar for what it really means to have #FriendshipGoals and I couldn’t have been happier. They had so many beautiful moments together and throughout it all, they have always had each other’s back. There has been many a time where Biden has been there with a friendly smile or a go-get-'em attitude.
I know that for me, having a close friend like that would make speaking in front of an entire country a lot less stressful, and I think that is what really makes their friendship great. They continue to be truthful and straightforward and so absolutely genuine in all that they do. On top of that, they are way funnier than most. Who doesn’t want to have a friend they can just jog around the White House with? They are a friendship, that is just who they are and nothing will change that.
And we cannot possibly talk about their amazing friendship if we do not mention the fact that Obama gave Biden a medal that is pretty much a Best Friends Forever award. I don’t care what anyone says, that is friendship right there.
A final word for the amazing relationship that we have been shown. Obama and Biden, through any issues or strife, have always been there for each other. I know that that is their job, being President and Vice President you are meant to work together, but they were so much more. All of the events that have occurred and the issues and terrible feedback they have gotten, they never let it get them down, because they had each other to help them out. So I would like to send them out with a “thank you.”
Thank you, Obama and Biden, for being best friends and best presidential buddies. You have certainly redefined my view on friendship goals, and I will miss you, and I hope you keep making memes you glorious men you.
