Fall is upon us and soon it will be winter. What could be better than New York City in the winter? Nothing!!! Even friends from LA get out of there and come here, because it’s the coolest place to be.

During the cold months in New York, there is a ton to do, especially during the holiday season. New York City is a magical place and my family and I love to take trips to the city as often as possible, and walk around in the snow!

Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade

I’ve gone many times and loved it! When I was younger my parents rented a room overseeing the Parade and all our friends came. This is major-league excitement for everyone! It is especially fun to watch the balloons getting blown up the night before!

Holiday market shopping

In the middle of Bryant Park, Union Square Park, and a few others, there are booths all set up with different, super-cool vendors. Some of the vendors sell clothing, accessories and even food! They are cutting edge. One of my personal favorites are the No Chewing Allowed Chocolates. It is so nice to walk around and do some shopping in the middle of a park!

Visit the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree

Every year in Rockefeller Center there is always the tree to go see! This is probably one of the most popular things to do in NYC during the winter months!

Ice skating

There are so many places to go ice skating in the city! One of my favorites is the Wollman Rink in Central Park! It’s the place to be seen and is very affordable.

Broadway shows

Going to Broadway is one of the most popular things to do in New York! There are so many shows to see and they are all great! Discounts are available too at the Times Square TKTS Booth.

Radio City Rockettes

Seeing the Rockettes is a very popular attraction to go see in the winter! They have a Christmas Spectacular that everyone wants to see!

Watch the ball drop in Times Square

Watching the ball drop in Times Square on New Year’s Eve is something everyone wants to experience! I personally have never seen the ball drop but everyone says it’s something you have to see at least once!

See The Nutcracker at the NYC Ballet

Watching the Nutcracker has been a holiday tradition for many! Seeing the Nutcracker is a fun show for everyone of all ages!

Take a horse and carriage ride through Central Park

I know this is one of my family’s favorite things to do during the winter months! Bundle up with a warm hot chocolate and ride around central park!!

Walk around Times Square

Whether you are a tourist or a local, it is still fun to walk around and shop and if you can see the crystal ball sitting in Times Square waiting to be dropped if you go in December!

Go play in the snow in Central Park!

What’s more fun than playing in the snow in the cold winter months? Play in the snow in Central Park and even go sledding!

Now, don’t forget your mittens and bundle up!

Taylor Swift in orange dress playing a moss-covered piano on stage with bright lights.

A three-and-a-half-hour runtime. Nine Eras. Eleven outfit changes. Three surprise songs. Zero breaks. One unforgettable evening. In the past century, no other performer has put on an electric performance quite like Taylor Swift, surpassing her fans ‘wildest dreams’. It is the reason supporters keep coming back to her shows each year. Days later, I’m still in awe of the spectacle ‘Miss Americana’ puts on every few days in a new city. And, like one of Taylor’s exes, has me smiling as I reminisce about the memories of the night we spent together.
