I'm sure that many of us have been in settings or encounters where we've met someone that make us feel uncomfortable or disrespected, and then suddenly, they want your phone number. Here are some fake/prank phone numbers that you can give them instead of your actual phone number.
888-447-5594
This is an Easter Egg phone number for the first "God of War" video game. It features a dramatic speech.
605-475-6968
This is a classic rejection hotline. It "politely" explains to the person calling that they have been rejected.
206-569-5829
This is a phone number to a radio station in Seattle, Washington for a bit they have called, Loser Line. If the person trying to call you leaves a strange voicemail, there is a possibility that it could get played on the air.
630-296-7536
This is a number to a fictional company called Boothworld Industries. It is from a reality game that was created by horror writer, Cristopher Bloodworth. The answering machine that picked up when I called sounded really creepy.
618-625-8313
This phone number is a "Stranger Things" Easter Egg. If you call it, the answering machine of Murray Bauman from the most recent season picks it up and plays a very long winded message.
646-926-6614
This is called the Mary Sue Rejection Hotline. I really like this one. When you call it, the recording says, "Oh hello there. If you're hearing this message, you've made a woman feel uncomfortable and/or disrespected. Please learn to take no for an answer and respect women's emotional and physical autonomy. K thanks."
The best part about this one is that it also sends text replies too, and it waits an hour after it receives a message, so you don't get caught if they text you right away.
