Now What Do I Watch
TV News Check

Everyone loves this certain down-time activity. It's not gossiping, unfortunately not reading, and it's not even video games. It's Netflix binge-watching. It can actually be considered "Netflix binging and purging." You watch a show or two and when you're done, you purge it and never have to look at it again (or you might). Either way we all have the one serious question at the end of the day or show. The question is what do we watch next? Since December, I have been watching “The X Fileswith my boyfriend and only recently just finished it. So what do you we watch next? This decision making process of picking the next TV show is actually pretty difficult. It's because the show you have just finished was so good that you don't think anything else could top it. Unless it wasn't a very good show and you just want to get out as fast as you can, that's a different story. For those who are like me and don't watch a lot of TV, you might not even want to pick up a new show. Maybe you came to pick one and stick with it until the end and maybe not even have the desire to pick up a next show. That's totally fine. But for those of you who like to keep going with new shows or are at least thinking about it like me, there are stages to the process of deciding.

Stage One: Ending Reaction

The ending of the show you just finished might have been so good that you're not sure if you can move on just yet. You can't possibly think of a better show than the one you just watched.

Stage Two: The Search

It may take hours, days, even months but at some point the search must begin. For those of you who are like me and are particular about shows, it might actually take a year.

Stage Three: Possibilities

You may have an idea of what to watch next but you're still not sure. It's possible! Again, still not sure.

Stage Four: I give up

Not everyone goes through this stage but most people do. You may have found a potential show and you checked it out. Well maybe it wasn't what you thought it was going to be so you get frustrated may take a break from show searching

Stage Five: Getting to know the show (hey that rhymed)

In case you didn't go through stage four then this is your next. You found a show and you're giving it a chance. That could easily lead to you're addiction to the show and you can't wait for what's next to come.

Final Stage: Obsession

It's official. You can't stop watching and you're starting to get too comfortable with being obsessed. That's okay because that means good reviews for the show which leads to you strongly recommending it to others.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
