Let’s be honest—nobody truly enjoys wearing pants. Even those of us who live and breathe for fashion will shamelessly admit that pants are everyone’s least favorite item of clothing. Whether it’s the fact that the perfect pair take forever to find or the fact that they can never seem to fit exactly the way you need them to, wearing pants is an absolute hassle. Though they can cause endless frustration, pants seem to be a necessary evil in order to survive the cold comfortably as temperature continues to decrease. Fret no more, this fall creates the perfect opportunity to kiss those tight jeans goodbye and create a front-row ready ensemble with just two pieces.

Dresses and miniskirts have completely taken over, even sweatshirts and proving to be an important staple. One common appearance in fall fashion however, is length. Tops are getting longer, dresses are getting longer, and even better—boots are getting taller. The combination of oversized shirts or sweaters and over-knee-boots is a trend better known as “lampshading,” and has become a preference for street style stars and it-girl supermodels. Basically, pants are being replaced with boots in what is perhaps one of the sexiest and most comfortable upgrades to date.

Lampshading began to gain popularity last fall, but the trend is extremely more relevant this time around. The trick is to choose a dress or oversized shirt that has a broader hemline to make the look practical enough for any given occasion.

With thigh-high boots creating an instant outfit, eliminating pants for a little while is not only comfy, but ridiculously effortless.

People are slowly becoming accustomed to the dual use of these names, but for the most part, in their minds they associate certain names with certain sexes. And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.

I'm an anthropology major, and I love every minute of it. I couldn't tell you why, but I guess there's just something about studying different lifestyles that absolutely fascinates me. But anthropology majors definitely have our weird sides, especially when you go to a school that is filled with mostly Business and Bio majors. But us weirdos definitely have a lot in common, specifically these 16 things.

pale girl

Everyone has insecurities, that's just a fact. You didn't ask to be born this way. You didn't ask to inherit the one trait no one else in your family has. And you definitely didn't ask to be this ghostly white. But as soon as you've learned to live with it for a while (less wrinkles later on in life, right? right???) someone has to ruin it for you. They have to flaunt they're perfectly tanned body from Spring Break and hold their sun-kissed skin against yours. But I've had enough... here are the things that perpetually pale individuals are tired of hearing.
