Depression is a serious mood disorder. No, it's not just "feeling blue" from time to time. It affects your daily activities, the way you think, and how you feel. There are so many people that do not take depression seriously, and that is downright disgusting. These people will end up making someone feel worse than they already do, telling them to "get over it" or "just cheer up." Down below is a list of things you should NEVER say to someone with depression, and these are just a few.

1. "Cheer Up!" 

2. "It's all in your head." 

3. "Stop feeling sorry for yourself." 

4. "But your life is going so well!"
