Not For A Girl, I Promise.

The opposites of life

Here we stand
In each others view
out of sight
Hearts silent
souls screaming
The hourglass shattered
playing with the sands of time
Building up castles
Tearing down walls
A constant battle
ying and yang
Separate but the same
Insanely calm
Calmly crying
A paradox where living is dying
Dying is to have lived
Love is for the mistress
And kisses are for the miss's
Hating that i love you
loving that i hate you
Lets jump back to when i was dead
To be dead is to have lived
I saw a sparkle in your eye
Top hats off to you
Allured you with
Silky sweet words charlotte taught me to spin
I told you jokes
you angrily laughed
Gave you compliments
You smiled
It was dark and twisted
Tried to deny your existence
But you insisted your presence
Opened up gates that was sealed
wish i kept my hat on
I tried to cleanse myself
But im glue and your the paper
Now i feel my heart racing i feel alive
Because to be living
Is to be dying
My head is spinning
While the eyes are steady
I see black
when the sun is shining
I wish i was dead
To be dead is to live
Instead im living
To be living is to be dying
Forever regretting the day i met you
To my demons i hate that i love you.

18 Things I Want To Do Now That I'm 18

I'm technically an adult, so I'm legally required to live a little, right?

For the entirety of my high school career, I was always seen as the goody-two-shoes. I never got in trouble with a teacher, I kept stellar grades, and when I wasn't doing extracurricular activities, I was at home studying. Even when I did go out, it was usually with a bunch of fellow band geeks. The night would end before 11:00 PM and the only controversial activity would be a fight based on who unfairly won a round of Apples-to-Apples when someone else clearly had a better card (I promise I'm not still holding a grudge).

Now that I'm officially an adult, I want to pursue some new things. I want to experience life in a way that I never allowed myself to do prior to entering college. These are the years that I'm supposed to embark on a journey of self-discovery, so what better way to do that than to create a bucket list?
